In South Korea, military service is mandatory for all men. But a select few—like privileged medical students—can serve as public health doctors instead. This is the story of those privileged few. Do Ji-ui, a plastic surgeon, is assigned to Pyeondong-do, an isolated island no one wants to go to. From the very first day, ominous signs begin to appear.
